It saddens me to see a 37-year-old Preity Zinta, romancing a boy half her age, and acting like a chirpy teenager in her latest chick-flick, ‘Ishq In Paris’. Preity, who was once being touted as the successor of iconic Bollywood heroines like Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi has lost her place in Bollywood.
Preity Zinta has some of the biggest bollywood blockbusters under her kitty. From hits like Veer Zaara, to Kal Ho Na Ho, the dimpled diva fit each role with much élan.
Unfortunately, her reign in Bollywood has come to an end. Although, Preity has donned the producer’s hat for the first time for ‘Ishq In Paris’, the promos suggest the movie will be nothing more than a regular chick-flick with scenic locations and fashionable clothes.
To add to Preity’s unending misery, is her regular visits to her cosmetic surgeon. Every passing day is making Preity look more and more like Michael Jackson which is quite sad to say the least.
We hope Preity realizes that acting young is not the only passage that older Bollywood heroines should take. Preity has managed to acquire an audience, who, like me, are dying to see her in a more age-appropriate role.
